How wheelchair-accessible is Hwb y Gors?
Entrances: There are two main entrances to the building, one at each end. There are also external doors from the cafe and pottery studio. All our entrances and exits are wheelchair accessible.
Parking: We have 3 designated disabled parking spaces in our car park close to the entrance.
Cafe, Studios and other public spaces: All public facilities are accessible on the ground floor.
Project Suite: One of our rentable spaces (a suite of two studios and a sink facility) is on the first floor with 12 steps.
Washrooms: All of our washrooms are on the ground floor. We have a wheelchair accessible washroom equipped with a hoist, adult-sized changing bench, shower, shelf, toilet and adjustable sink. We also have an ambulant toilet with a sink in addition to our standard toilets.
Assistance dogs: All types of assistance and guide dogs are welcome at Hwb y Gors.
