Join Jane Claricoats for a Rush Hat Workshop where you’ll dive into hands-on fun crafting your very own summer hat – choose from a gardening hat, a trilby or a boater style hat! This is an in-person event perfect for anyone looking to learn new skills . No experience needed, just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to make something beautiful, just in time for the summer

With the exception of mats, rush items are made on a mould. You will therefore make your own hat mould ahead of the workshop and bring it with you to use on the day. Full instructions for measuring-up for your hat and for making your mould (from newspaper and parcel tape) will be provided with your booking confirmation.

Old clothes are recommended to wear on the day as rushes are natural materials and are used damp.
