In June, Taith Community Transport travelled to Manchester to attend the Community Transport Association (CTA) 40th Anniversary Awards. We were delighted to be shortlisted in two categories: Commitment to Sustainability and Partnership of the Year recognising the hard work, dedication, and impact of our community transport service across South West Wales.
The awards ceremony was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of community transport organisations from across the UK, share good practice, and highlight the vital role community transport plays in helping people remain connected, independent, and active within their communities.
While we didn’t bring home a trophy this year, we are incredibly proud to have been recognised as finalists alongside so many inspiring organisations. Congratulations to all the winners and shortlisted nominees on the night, and thank you to our staff, volunteers, partners, funders, and passengers whose ongoing support makes our work possible.
