A new Klezmer Klub has started at Hwb y Gors and we are delighted that musicians are starting to make music in our beautiful building.
Helen Adam, a local musician, has set up a Klezmer Klub at the Hwb and it’s already very popular! According to Helen, “Klezmer is the music of the Ashkenazy Jews and its main flowering in Eastern Europe was in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It is uplifting, joyous and soulful all at once.”
The group is aimed at musicians of all abilities from beginner to advanced, so why not come along with your instrument and give it a try. Making music with others is a guaranteed way to feel happier and more connected which are things we all need at the moment.
The group meets once a month on a Saturday morning (10-12).
All music is provided.
£5 a session.
