We’re about to open!

We’re about to open our doors at Hwb y Gors, and we’re kicking things off with a great mix of community-led projects.

We’re about to open our doors at Hwb y Gors, and we’re kicking things off with a great mix of community-led projects.

We’re excited to be launching First Step Mental Health Support with Shadows Depression Support Group starting in September alongside a multi-media arts programme led by Mess Up the Mess.

We’ll be celebrating traditional skills and local stories through our Community Mosaic Project in which we’ll create a heritage mosaic mural for Hwb y Gors gardens with artist Dani Lee; and Hannah (our arts and education officer) will be unveiling our Heritage Crafts Footpath.

We’ll also be relocating our popular monthly Repair Café to the Hwb, and relaunching our weekly garden group as part of our Volunteer Programme. If you’re interested in getting involved as a volunteer at the Hwb, do get in touch with Gráinne, our Volunteer Coordinator.

Our Stitch Club will be moving to the Hwb too, and we’re welcoming new groups like the monthly Klezma Klub — bringing music, creativity, and connection into the heart of the community.

Awel Aman Tawe will be relocating to Hwb y Gors in September, so this is where you’ll now find our Energy Team and Community Transport team.

If you’re interested in renting a space or running a project here, do get in touch.

Thank you to all our funders, supporters and everyone in the community for bearing with us during the last 5 years of renovating this beautiful building.
