In this 3 hour, in-person workshop, you will learn how to create intaglio printing plates using Tetra-Pak containers -think Box Milk, Oat Milk, Orange Juice. This is a form of intaglio printing similar to Drypoint, but using recycled materials to create gorgeous and unusual prints. You will be using metal tools and craft knives to cut and scratch your design onto the printing plate.
All tools, equipment and materials are provided. If you have a specific image you would like to have a go at re-producing into a print, bring it along.
This is a great workshop for beginners who want to understand the printing process, and printmakers who want to make prints in a shared space. All experience levels welcome!
